The Art of Craft Beer

The Art of Craft Beer, a multi-sensory beer event series that pairs the best in craft beer label art with the best in craft beer.  Most recently, The Art of Craft Beer was blessed by sunshine in the heart of Leslieville for an outdoor craft beer event that featured,  Ontario brewers, culinary vendors from Caplansky’s, Maple Leaf Tavern, Localista an Art Expo, and live music at the beautiful Ashbridge Estate.

HOPCHOW will offer beer and food lovers artfully curated pairings from Toronto’s most innovative purveyors. Buddied up, chef and brewer will collaborate to create a menu of delicious bites complemented by amazing craft beer.

The Art Expo

Once again, The Art of Craft Beer features a silent auction with proceeds benefitting Sketch, a not-for-profit organization engaging street-involved youth through the arts. As well, the event features an art expo featuring work done by craft beer label artists. The event also features a curated craft beer merchandise pop-up shop that offers some of the best t-shirts, hats, bags, and prints from the event’s participating brewers


The Art of Food

May 10, 2017 – Through a partnership with the Culinary Tourism Alliance, The Art of Craft Beer will feature food vendors that share a farm-to-table sensibility. All are Feast On CertifiedFeast On is a program by the Culinary Tourism Alliance which recognizes businesses committed to showcasing Ontario’s unique tastes of place.

 On June 3 at Ashbridge Estate, enjoy Caplansky’s DeliMaple Leaf TavernHawthorne Food & Drink, and Localista as part of the free community event, The Art of Craft Beer –  a multi-sensory beer experience that pairs the best in craft beer label art with the best in craft beer. These four food vendors join already announced Ontario brewers : Left Field Brewery,Wellington BreweryCameron’s BrewingGreat Lakes BreweryHenderson BrewingSawdust City Brewing Co., Beau’s BreweryNickel Brook, and Collective Arts Brewing.

 The Art of Craft Beer and the Culinary Tourism Alliance share a belief that food serves to connect us with the land, our heritage, and the people around us. It is a diverse and dynamic channel for sharing stories, forming relationships, and building communities. By using local food and drink at eventswe’re offering both locals and tourists alike an authentic taste of our bountiful province while contributing to a sustainable world economy. Feast On inspires and assists eaters in discovering Ontario’s “taste of place” by highlighting experiences that go above and beyond to serve, celebrate and support local farmers, artisans and producers.
